Mr. Anel Mareus, 42, of 150 Continental Street in Anderson, SC passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2016.  He was born in Gonaives, Haiti on September 17, 1973 to Leana and Emilio Mareus.  

Anel was employed with Unaflex Manufacturing in Anderson, SC.

He is survived by his parents, Emilio Mareus and Leana Mareus; five children, Milourie Mareus, Wood-jery Mareus, Djovany Mareus, Stanley Mareus, and Dorothy Mareus all of Haiti; five sisters, Celina Mareus, Yolande Mareus, Margarette Mareus, Diana Mareus,  and Sherly Mareus; two brothers, Nava Mareus and Jean Francois Mareus; and a host of loving family, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

The funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, July 23 at the Anderson Haitian Wesleyan Church (1325 Salem Church Road Anderson, SC).  The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
