Mrs. Bessie Mills Smith, 65, of 230 Hillside Circle in Iva, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 in Anderson, South Carolina.  

She is survived by her husband, Marion Leroy Smith; one daughter, Carol Smith; two sons, Reginald Smith and Vincent Smith; two step-daughters, Sharon (Charles) Williams and Katrina Bell; one step-son, Marion Tyrone Hatten; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Sylvia Elaine (Larry) Zellars; two brothers, Willie L. Mills and Albert Pressley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Bell Mills; and one sister, Geneva Rosabell Mills.

Mrs. Smith will be open for public viewing on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m at the funeral home.  A private interment will take place on Monday, August 14 at Hudson Chapel. 

The family will be at their respective homes.
