Carrie Belle Hunter (Bell), 87, of 2006 Donaldson Road Anderson, SC, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at her home.

Carrie was a member of Mt. Carmel C.M.E. Church and a retired teacher with Anderson School District #5.

She is survived by her two daughters, Laurella Bell and Yvonne Bell Grant; two sons, Woodrow Thomas Bell, Jr. and Carroll Emmanuel Bell, Sr.; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Galbreath and Eloise Heard Hunter; one daughter, Johnnie Bell Scott; one sister, Martha Lou Hunter; and four brothers, Thomas J. Hunter, Wilmer Hunter, Lincoln Hunter, and John Thomas Hunter.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 21, 2016 at the funeral home.  The interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
