Mrs. Doris Paul Johnson, 79, of 123 Knowlandwood Circle in Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at her home.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Johnson of Anderson, SC; five sons, James Powell, Larry D. Johnson both of Anderson, SC, Billy Ray Johnson of the home, Herbert Johnson (Andreka) of Blythewood, SC and Marvin J. Johnson (Kirstie) of Elberton, GA; two sisters, Iva Lee Johnson and Rev. Mary Lou Mackey both of Anderson, SC; one brother, Bobby J. Paul (Joyce) of Winston Salem, NC; two grandsons, reared in the home, Migerald Bolden and Rashad Scott; twenty-six grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Johnson; parents, Josephine and Jefferson Paul; one daughter, Dorothy Johnson; one son, Timmy Johnson; two sisters, Elizabeth Mackey and Joann Clayton; and three brothers, Jefferson Paul, John Marvin Paul and Lewis Melvin Paul.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2017 at Flat Rock A.M.E. Church in Antreville, SC.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
