Mrs. Ethel Mae Clinkscales, 86, of 201 Bailey Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at her home.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann W. (Marshall) Mattison of Anderson, SC; one son, Wallace Gene Clinkscales of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Katherine Martin and Gladys Adams both of Anderson, SC; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Bridie M. Clinkscales; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Phyllis Hamilton Clinkscales; five sisters, Fannie C. Starks, Leola C. Gray, Hattie C. Jones, Betty Harris, and Peggy Harkness; and five brothers, John Clinkscales, Jr., Chester Clinkscales, William Clinkscales, Glen Clinkscales, and Matthew Clinkscales.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Flat Rock A.M.E. Church in Antreville, SC.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family is at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ann Mattison, 108 Crystal Lane Anderson, SC 29621.
