Harold Lee "Cookie" Gaines, Jr., 49, of Gary Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Jean Carson Gaines; daughter, Carson Leigh Gaines; son, Hardricus Lee Gaines; two sisters, Linda Jones and Toynika Gaines; one brother, Cory Gaines; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lee Gaines, Sr.; one daughter, Hardtara Leigh Gaines; and one brother, Gary Gaines.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.  The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.

The family is at the home of his sister, Toynkia Gaines, 405 Lewis Street Anderson, SC 29624.
