Mr. Harry S. Thompson, 89, of 1111 Southwood Street in Anderson, SC,  passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Harry was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church, where he served on the Trustee Board.  He was also an Army Veteran and a retired United States Postal Worker.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Beatrice R. Thompson and three sons, Harry R. Thompson, Stephen Patrick Thompson, and Darryl Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Cannes Reese Thompson.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at St. Paul First Baptist Church.  The interment will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery with military honors.
