Mr. James Perry Winbush, 80, of 1067 Whitner Drive, passed away on January 5, 2017 at AnMed Health.

He is survived by his wife, Minister Cora Helen Rice Winbush; three daughters, Prophetess Renee’ Winbush Young, Pastor Angela Winbush-Brawner, Tonya Lashawn Winbush; one son, Dr. James Robert Winbush; twelve grandchildren, Demetrius Young, Dorian Young, Deanna Young, Tanisha Brawner, Jerrel Brawner, Danyetta Young, Roshanda Brawner, Bradejah Thomas, Jamelah Thomas, Maia Winbush, Azariah Thomas, Leah Thomas; one great grandchild, Liam Young; and a host of relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Jeanette Mattison Winbush; one sister, Julia Mae Rice; and one brother, Charles Winbush;

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
