Mr. John F. Fant, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 in UTMC Medical Center.  John was born May 18, 1928 in Anderson, SC to James and Sallie Adger Fant.

John was an honorably discharged WWII Veteran and retired from Toledo Sales Co.

Surviving are his brother, Marcell (Mary) Fant; sisters, Mertha Porterfield and Frances Thompson all of Belton, SC; nephew, James C. Porterfield; cousin, Lillie M. Henderson both of Toledo, OH; and a host of other relatives.

A wake service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2017, followed by the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. at the House of Day Funeral Chapel in Ohio.

Public viewing will be held on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  The interment will be held in Anderson, SC at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
