Mary McAlister Obituary

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth "Sweet Pea" Kay McAlister, 74, passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at NHC. She was employed with NHC and a member of Welfare Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Elizabeth McAlister of Anderson, SC; son, Edward Recardo McAlister of Anderson, SC; two grandchildren, Zion McDowell and Kelcy L. Timms; two sisters, Polly (Daniel) Morton of Anderson, SC and Mary Kay Brown of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Roosevelt (Betty) Massey of Anderson, SC and Sylvester (Betty) Sanders of Belton, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. McAlister; parents, Joseph Kay and Ineza Kay Boseman; and one sister, Sylvene Mattison.

No services will be held.

The family is at their respective homes.
