Mr. Roosevelt Johnson, 78, of 600 Fair Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on March 31, 2017 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Dessie R. Jones Johnson; three daughters, Priscilla Johnson, Sarah Johnson, Joyce Johnson; four sons, Christopher Johnson, Roosevelt A. "Pete" Johnson, Roosevelt "Toochie" Johnson, and Ricky (Alice) Mark; three sisters, Jenobia Hardy, Dora Whitner, and Margie Paschal; two brothers, David Johnson and Cecil Corner; twenty-two grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Zeddie and Roberta Walker Johnson; one son, Bobby Jones; five sisters, Josephine Gilliard, Izonia Mark, Mae Frances Hunter, Rosella Scotland, and Sara Johnson; and one brother, Jocephus Johnson.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at New Prospect Baptist Church in Townville, SC.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home, 600 Fair Street Anderson, SC 29625.
