Mrs. Tommie Jean "Deana" Hill, age 73, of 116 Fyffe Drive in Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016.  She was born in Seneca, SC on June 24, 1943 to Lula Gibson and Johnny I. Johnson.

Tommie loved going to gospel programs, especially to hear J.T. Isom and the Spiritual Stars bring the house down.  She also enjoyed going to baseball games on Dobbins Bridge Road to see the Anderson Stars play.  

Tommie will be missed dearly by so many people.  She leaves to cherish her memory to her sons, Paul E. Hill and his wife, Andrea Samuel Hill and Mickey L. Hill and his wife, Babette Hill; six grandchildren, Brooklyn Hill, Kontavia Hill, Brandyn Ashley, Alicia Samuel-Ninou, Alexander Samuel, and Jabril Hill; three great-grandchildren, Kaniyah Hill, Braylen Freeman, and Jayceon Freeman; one sister, Betty Louise Earle; and a host of relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Annie Ruth Oglesby, Annie Mae Holland, Sarah Holland Long, and Mary Ann Simpson; and brothers, Charles A. Simpson, Richard Holland, Robert Holland, and E. George Holland.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 31, 2016 at St. Paul First Baptist Church.
