Mr. Walter Maurice Gilliard, 49, of 419 Sims Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

He is survived by his mother, Birdie Gilliard of the home; two sisters, Yvonne (Todd) Paulding of Charlotte, NC and Pamela Gilliard of Anderson, SC; one brother, Michael (Angela) Gilliard of Seneca, SC; and a host of relatives.

The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, August 19, 2016 at Mt. Able Baptist Church Pendleton, SC.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
