Bertha Wright Obituary
Mrs. Bertha Louise Keller Wright, 86 years old, was born on September 27, 1933 to the late L.T. and Claudia "Sugar" Puckett Keller. Bert, as she was called, entered into eternal rest at her home in Anderson, SC on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.
She leaves to cherish fond memories to her two daughters, Annette Wright Merriweather (Lawrence) and Lilia Wright both of Long Island, NY; one adopted son, Michael Gordon; five sisters, Francis Johnson and Inez Rich both of Detroit, MI, Bobbie Crawford of Ware Shoals, SC, Martha Key of Bristol, TN, and Nettie Wooley of Brooklyn, NY; one brother, Luther Keller of Lithonia, GA; five grandchildren; and a host of in-laws, other relatives, and special friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Wright; two sons, Nathaniel Jr. and Charlie Ray "Nick" Wright; one sister, Eva Mae Keller Blake; and five brothers, L.T., Calvin, Billy, Jackie, and Willie Floyd Keller.
A celebration of life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, November 22, 2019 at Welfare Baptist Church.
The family is at 71 Audubon Road Ware Shoals, SC.
