Bessie Wideman Obituary
Mrs. Bessie Mae Wideman, 90, of 401 Hayes Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at NHC of Anderson.
She is survived by her daughters, Blanche C. (James) Harrison, Viola Wideman, and Betty Jean Wideman; one son, William Henry Wideman; one sister, Mattie Lou Ferguson; two brothers, John Lee Ferguson and Robert Middleton; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; and a host of relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Wideman; mother, Martha Calhoun Ferguson; father, Clarence Woodard; one daughter, Henrietta Wideman; one son, Willie Elmer Wideman; two sisters, Chaney Ruth Latimore and Zina Calhoun; one brother, James Ferguson; and two grandsons, Bruno Earl Geer and Prince Rodriquez Freeman.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 4, 2018 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Starr, SC. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family is at the home, 401 Hayes Street Anderson, SC 29624.
