Mrs. Bettie Ann Rainey Moss departed this life on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Detroit Michigan. She was born in Anderson County, South Carolina on October 12, 1944 to the late Mack and Elizabeth Hunter Rainey. She professed her faith in Christ at an early age joining Mount Moriah Baptist Church, Anderson, SC. Bettie Ann was a 1963 graduate of New Deal High School in Starr, SC.

She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her husband, Daniel Moss, Detroit, MI; three daughters, Natalie Mattress, Greenville, SC, Valerie Moss and Amarylli Moss, Detroit, MI; one sister, Margaret Willis, Greenville, SC; three brothers, David Rainey, Anderson, SC, J.B (Jack) Rainey (Betty), Royston, GA, and John Robert Rainey (Joan), Toccoa, GA; one Aunt, Clara Tate, Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Marcus Moss (Evette), Anderson, SC, Kiara Ware, Goose Creek, SC, Phylasia Rufus and Cartier Rufus, Detroit, MI; one great-granddaughter, Elise Moss, Anderson, SC; a host of relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were siblings Lester, Iola and Jimmy Rainey.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.

Services were held in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, January 4, 2019 at Stinson Funeral Home in Detroit, MI.
