Mrs. Birdie Lee Young Murray, 85, of 108 Norris Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Martha Jackson; two grandchildren, Michelle and Christina Murray; two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lethia Williams and Doris J. Baskin; special niece, Brenda Samuels; and a host of relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Richard Murray; parents, Henry and Aleathia Nance Young and three brothers, James (Jimmy) "Scrap" Young, Thomas Edward Young and Henry Jr. "PeeWee" Young.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
The family is at the home, 108 Norris Street Anderson, SC 29624.
