To the Blackwell family I wish you sincere condolences. Dennis was a friend of mine from the navy. We really had some good times hanging out. He was someone I truly looked up to and respected. Gonna miss him. But we shall meet again on the other side.

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal. I retired teaching at Nevitt Forest Elementary School. Mr. Dennis Blackwell always had a smile for everybody, the students and the teachers. I know he will be missed at Nevitt Forest. Praying for the whole family.

We the Mattox Family Reunion is sadden to hear of the passing of our loved one Mr. Dennis T. Blackwell. We, extend our deepest condolences to his wife Jacqueline, children and siblings. We, do know that God has never made any mistake but there will be a void from your heart and from our family as well. Dennis was one that loved his family no matter how young or old.
