Robert Groves Obituary
Mr. Robert L. Groves, 62, of 111 Soapstone Drive in Starr, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Ladd Groves; three daughters, Shanice Groves, Petonya White, and Sinquishia Lewis; two sisters, Ruby Elaine Groves and JoAnn Groves; four grandchildren; Sidney McIntosh, Aaliyah McIntosh, Alexiaa McIntosh, and Gavin White; and a host of relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Mary Beaty Groves; one daughter, Whitney Groves; two sisters, Fannie M. Groves and Lettie L. Jones; and four brothers, Earnest Groves, Willie C. Groves, Larry Groves, and Albert Groves.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 29, 2019 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Cross Road CME Church Cemetery.
