Roger Donald Miville

Mr. Roger D. Miville of Iva, SC went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 4, 2019. He was born in Lewiston, Maine to the late Rosario and Jeanne Miville.

Roger was a retired supervisor from Kroger Bakery, Anderson, S.C. He also displayed his attention to detail as seen in his work as a superior cabinetry craftsman and in his joy of cooking. Roger also had a green thumb; he loved growing and maintaining plants. He was a huge pet-fan. When you think of a good neighbor and a giver, you think of Roger. He took care of people in need and would buy treats for the children and shared generously with others.  Roger was a man who never wanted to be in the spot-light, but what he did for those who received will never be forgotten.

He was preceded in death by his parents Rosario and Jeanne Miville and his sister, Laurette Miville Petruska.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loyal and faithful wife of 18-years, Evelyn Witcher Miville. He is survived by one sister, Pauline Miville Bouley, children: Mr. Eddie (Mary-Lynn) Miville, Michelle Miville, Nicole Miville and Octavis (Lindsey) Witcher; grandchildren Edward Miville, Jr, Regan Martin, Jackson Fellers, Jordan Fellers, Madison Fellers and a host of extended family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at South Lawn Memorial Gardens in Starr, SC. 

The family is at 101 Lockwood Drive Anderson, SC.
