She was a member of the Tenant Association, Tenant Patrol, volunteered at Silva Klein Day Care and Brooklyn Developmental Center and assisted with a Bible Study Group. She and her late husband touched the lives of many through their work with the Little League Baseball Team in the 1970’s.  Annabell had various employment experiences such as at the Mastermade Corporation, Time Square Supermarket, Alexanders Distribution Center, Mercy Group Home for Children and Manhattan Psychiatric Hospital. As a supervisor she supervised over 20 employees and was in charge of Payroll Distribution. After her retirement she relocated to her hometown of Anderson, South Carolina.

Annabell enjoyed a variety of activities such as reading the Bible, attending church, concerts, plays, dining out, cooking, traveling and making doll clothes for the many dolls she collected. She most enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and planning family events and activities.  Annabell was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She always put others before herself and taught her children to put God first and the importance of self-respect, education and honesty.  Annabell started her Christian Walk at an early age when she joined Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Townsville, S.C. When she relocated to New York she first became a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and then Greater Bright Light Baptist Church, both in Brooklyn, New York.
