Apostle James M. Bennett, age 68, entered eternal rest on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at AnMed Health Medical Center. He was born in Greenville, SC.
Apostle Bennett was ordained a minister of the Gospel in 1977. He was the Founder and Senior Pastor of New Beginning Ministries International, Inc. and the Founder of RHEMA Fellowship of Inner City Faith Churches Anderson, SC. He was also a dedicated member of FICWFM Organization of Los Angeles, CA, which was founded by Apostle Frederick KC Price.
Apostle James M. Bennett leaves to cherish fond memories to his wife of 47 years Brenda Bennett; three daughters, Shujwana Bennett of Charlotte, NC, Adrian Bennett (Khristian) Dentley of Orlando, FL, and Ramonta Hall of Spartanburg, SC. Five grandchildren, KaShayla Bennett of Charlotte, NC, Porsha Williams of Charlotte, NC, David Valentine of Spartanburg, SC, Trey Valentine of Spartanburg, SC and Khadijah Williams of Spartanburg, SC. Three great-grandchildren. Two Sisters, Jaimel Bennett (Reginald) Lee of El Paso, TX, and Michelle Moore (Shawn) Young of Clemson, SC. Five Brothers, Jairon Bennett of Oxnard, CA. Eldridge Bennett of Lithonia, GA, J. B. (Karen) Moore Jr of Lithonia, GA. Henry (Carlene) Moore of Winston Salem, NC, JB (Chiquita) Moore III of Columbia, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Apostle Bennett was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Mazie Lee Bennett, Grandparents, and two step-brothers.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at Westside Community Center. The entombment will follow at Oaklawn Lawn Memorial Gardens. Public viewing Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
