Arthur Lee Morrison

Arthur Lee Morrison, affectionately known as "Lee" was born in Elbert County, Georgia, on November 28, 1941 to the late Otis and Willie Curry Morrison.
Lee attended New Deal High School.  He was an active member of Mountain View C.M.E. Church and was employed in the Textile Industry until his health declined.

He leaves fond memories: his daughters, Victoria Morrison Austin (Marlon) of Anderson, SC, Comolitha Gilliard of Williamston, SC, Ada Blanding (Jasina) of Pelzer, SC, and  Contina Morrison of Greenville, SC; sons, Byron Morrison of Seneca, SC, Lee Varchon Morrison (LeAnne) of Williamston, SC, and Rodriquez Blanding of Williamston, SC; his sister, Mary Willie Morrison Freeman of Iva, SC; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Dubose Morrison; beloved parents, Otis and Willie Curry Morrison; two brothers, Thomas Alvin Morrison and Horace Morrison; and three sisters, Margie Sadler, Alma Gray, and Lois Bell.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Mtn. View C.M.E. Church.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing Monday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
