David Harkness Obituary
Mr. David Lee Harknes was born in Anderson, SC on January 29, 1960. He departed this life on Monday, January 3, 2022 at his home.
David loved his family and worked for R and R Sanitation Company.
He was loved by many and will be missed dearly. David leaves behind five sisters, Azalee Harkness (John Curtis), Margaret Harkness (June Bug), Betty Harkness (Greg), Janie Harkness (James), and Helen Harkness; a special sister, Rhonda Williams Howard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mamie Lee Hoover Harkness; father, L.A. Harkness; two sisters, Tina L. Harkness and Judy Marie Harkness; and one brother, John L. Harkness.
Public viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.
The family will be at their respective homes.
