Elease (Dennis) Clinkscale

Elease Dennis-Clinkscale, was the last of seven children born to the late J.L and Tedora Sloan-Dennis, she was born in Abbeville, South Carolina on April 14, 1940.

Elease graduated from Wright High School in 1959 and later attended Barbazon College in Durham, North Carolina.

In 1961, she married her high school sweetheart and to this union the 4 D’s were born.

She dedicated her life by water baptism as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1968. Elease was a regular pioneer for over 35 years where she enjoyed volunteering and sharing Bible truths with others in her ministry by conducting Bible studies with family and those of interest.

Elease was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; L.C. Dennis, Clinton Dennis, and Joseph Dennis, sisters; Ello Dennis, Lizzie Dennis, and Vivian Williams.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband; Jerry Clinkscale, four daughters; Delores (Geroy) Bentley, Denita (William) Duncan, Diantha Parker, and Dedra (Tony) Rice; nine grandchildren: Will Williams, Latoya Williams, Danisha Jones, Jerlise Jones, Kenyatta (Sidney) Phinazee, Terell Smith, Kaila Parker, Taliyah Turner, and Howie Parker; great grands: Daisja Jones, Nijha Jones, Aniah Jones and Amir Phinazee; sister-in-law, Cornelius Glover; and a host of nieces, nephews and a large spiritual family.

At the request of Mrs. Elease Clinkscale, there will be no services.
