Ethel G. (Cunningham) Kemp

Mrs. Ethel Cunningham Kemp, 90, formerly of Casey Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

She is survived by her two sons, Robert (Annethia) Kemp III and Jerome (Pauline) Hardy; one sister, Cornelia Quarles; one step-son, Calvin Brock; four step-daughters, Nettie (Melvin) Latimer, Gloria "Cookie" Stewart, Cynthia Diane Carson, and Delores Jenkins; ten grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kemp, Jr.; parents, Tommie and Gertrude Norris Cunningham; two sons, James T. Cunningham and Willie E. Kemp; three sisters, Birdie Mae Rutledge, Janie L. Williams, and Celestine Jones; and seven brothers, Tommie Cunningham, Jr., George Cunningham, Harry Cunningham, Bishop B.T. Cunningham, John Cunningham, Samuel Cunningham, and Robert Cunningham.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 22, 2021 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.  Public viewing Monday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  At the request of the family, if you plan to attend the service, please wear a mask.  Limited seating will be available for guests.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance.
