Obituary

Mrs. Eunice Ware Cobb, the daughter of the late James Ware and Marie Bradley Ware, was born July5, 1930 in Seneca, South Carolina.  She attended Seneca High School.  She was married to Robert Cobb at an early age.  He preceded her in death in 1979.

Eunice was a member of New Beginning Ministries International.  She had a giving spirit and would help anyone she could.  Eunice was the head cook at the Naval Ship Yard in Washington, DC.  After retiring, she returned to South Carolina.

Eunice departed this life on March 9, 2022 at her home in Anderson, SC.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Alvonia Denise Brimage, son, Jay Ellis McClain, and her sister, Lois W. Sloan.

Her life will be remembered by her loving family, William L. (Johnnie) Sloan, Eunice E. Sloan, Fred A. (Lois) Sloan, Alice M. (John) Martin, Brenda Sloan, Billy R. (Sharon) Sloan, Ronnie (Debra) Sloan, and Calvin T. (Tonia) Sloan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.  The inurnment will follow in the columbarium niche.
