Forrest Young Obituary
Mr. Forrest "Slick" Young, 69, of Abbeville, SC, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Abbeville Memorial Hospital.
He is survived by his sons, Forrest Odell (Monique) Young and Ernest Dannell Clinkscales; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; one sister, Lula Young; two brothers, Curtis Young and Dewitt (Lucy) Young; and a host of relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Diane Clinkscales Young; his parents, James Young, Jr. and Rebecca Martin Young; and two brothers, James Young and Rodney Young.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 6, 2021 at Rocky River A.M.E. Church Cemetery. Public viewing Thursday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family is at 130 Latimer Road Anderson, SC.
