Gracie B. Fleming

Mrs. Gracie Ward Bailey Fleming, 82, of 225 Polaris Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Regency Hospital in Greenville, SC.

Gracie retired from Michelin Tire Corporation and was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Starr, SC.

She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa Bailey-Stowers and Dianne F. (son-in-law, Ricky) Eades; two sons, Joel Bailey, II and Vincent P. (daughter-in-law, Donna) Fleming; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild; one sister, Floree W. Mathes; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, George W. Bailey; second husband, James Fleming; parents, Jackson and Rosena Hall Ward; one son, Andrew Fleming; two sisters, Alberta Ward and Bernice Barnard; and two brothers, Rev. J.C. Ward and Fred Clinkscales.

The funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.  The entombment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
