Harry Alexander Simpson

Mr. Harry A. Simpson, 70, of 510 Johnson Street in Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 in Greenville, SC.

He leaves to cherish his memories: daughter, Mary W. Simpson; three sons, Gregory A. Simpson, Kevin D. Simpson, and James O. Simpson; one brother, Lawyer Simpson, Jr.; a special friend, Rether W. Adger; a niece reared in the home as a sister, Mattie L. (John) Simpson; and a host of other relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawyer Simpson, Sr. and Muszette Black Simpson and his sister, Mary L. Simmons.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment and Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5 at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery.  Public viewing Friday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
