Harvey "Butch" Jones, Sr.

Harvey Eugene “Butch” Jones, Sr. was born to late Winfield and Emma Jones on February 26, 1962. He gained his heavenly wings on November 4, 2023.

He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Alicia Jones of Spartanburg, SC, Latrice Jones “Trice” of Columbia, SC; one son, Harvey E. Jones Jr. “BJ” of Anderson, SC; four grandchildren, Tyriak Gambrell of Spartanburg, SC, Tylesha Webb of Anderson, SC, Naomi Riley, and Taylor Riley of Columbia, SC; a sister, Barbara Williams of Anderson, SC; two brothers, James Jones “Clayton” of Anderson, SC and Robert Jones, of Seneca, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Winfield and Emma Jones; two brothers, Donnie Ray Jones and Carl Douglas Jones; a niece reared in the home, Sherdine Clark “Punkin”; and a nephew, Michael Jones “Mike”.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Snow Hill Baptist Church.  Public viewing Saturday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
