Jackson Woods Obituary
Mr. Jackson W. Woods, 101, of Honea Path, SC, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at Rainey Hospice House.
He is survived by his daughter, Drunelle (Gannie) McDavid; two sons, Fred W. (Mary) Woods and Jackson Jerome Woods; a sister, Carolyn (Eric) Johnson; two brothers, John Woods and Frederick Woods; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Woods; fourteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren; a companion, Shirley Chapman; and a host of loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Coren Thomas Woods; his parents, Rufus Woods, Sr. and Eula Newell Woods; one son, Clinton Woods; and twelve siblings, Nellie, Cannis, Helen, Rufus Jr., William, Daniel, David, Artis, Durnell, Dornell, Truman, and Jacob.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2021 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Liberty Baptist Church in Honea Path, SC with military honors.
Friends may pay their respects on Sunday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
