Levi Brown, Jr., affectionately referred to by all as Pee Wee, was born to the late Cleo and Levi Brown, Sr. on November 11, 1960 in Bristol, PA. He was the youngest of four siblings and, as such, was spoiled by his mother and father until early adulthood. He attended Bristol Township schools where he joined the wrestling team for a short period. As a young man, he loved to chase the girls and was known as sort of a ladies’ man. By the time he was 20, he was the father of 3 young children, 2 of whom he was raising as a single dad. Although he was busy with his little ones, Pee Wee still found time for his favorite pastime, hanging out with friends.
Thirteen years later, Pee Wee started to grow his family with the addition of another child. Then, in 1995, he married Regina Byrdsong and they began building their family in Mount Holly, NJ. Together, they had four daughters over the next several years. The two decided to part ways after some years and Pee Wee had another son during this period. Later, in 2013, he relocated to the Brown Family hometown, Anderson, SC to be closer to his sisters and other extended family members. There, he met his companion, Joyce McIntosh, and lived with her for the remainder of his time.
Over the last several years, Pee Wee suffered from medical complications that prevented him from traveling too far from his home. However, he was only a phone call away from his loved ones and checked in with them quite often. During football season, he reached out to friends and family to boast about his Dallas Cowboys as he was a huge fan of the team.
On January 23, 2024, at age 63, Levi passed peacefully at Linley Park Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Anderson, SC where he was recovering from a recent hospital stay.
