Linda Gail (Dennis) Willingham

Mrs. Linda Gail Dennis Willingham was born January 22, 1951 in Starr, SC to the late Isaiah Jr. and Lillie Mae Dennis.  She departed this life on Monday, November 28, 2022 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

Linda graduated from Riverside High School in 1969.  She was a longtime member of Fuller Temple Fire Baptized Holiness Church.  She loved teaching Sunday School, singing on the choir, and teaching the Word of God before her health declined.  Linda loved the Lord, her children, and her family.  She will dearly be missed by her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Willie Roy Willingham; her children, Carlos (Roxie Callaham) Willingham, Sr., Mario Willingham, and La-Tarshua Willingham-Bowman all of Anderson, SC; three sisters, Louise Thomas of Cincinnati, OH, Lillie Sanders and Jennette Smith both of Anderson, SC; three brothers, Larry (Marjorie) Dennis, Nathan (Jackie) Dennis both of Anderson, SC and Harvey Dennis of Iva, SC; six grandchildren, Andrew (Summer) Willingham, Carlos Willingham Jr., Hannah Winters, Candice Lance, Dontavis Boggs, and Merissa Willingham; ten great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Van Johnson; and two great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Generostee Baptist Church.  Public viewing will be held on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her daughter, La-Tarshua W. Bowman, 1039 Arnold Road, Anderson, SC 29625.
