Mamie Poole Obituary
Mrs. Mamie Simpson Poole, 69, of Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her home.
Mamie graduated from T.L. Hanna High School and retired from Duke Power.
She is survived by her husband, J.B. Poole, Jr.; two daughters, Yolanda "Meta" Simpson (Joseph) Plantin and LaShana Poole; one brother, Joe Nathan Simpson; four grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence L. and Claudia Bell Hood Simpson and two brothers, James Hood and Wayman Lewis Simpson.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will be held on Tuesday, January 19 at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
Friends may pay their respects and send floral arrangements on Monday from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
