Matthew Gambrell Obituary
Mr. Matthew Gambrell, 83, of 422 Hall Street, Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
He is survived by his three daughters, Cynthia Terry, Darlene Mattison, and Colette Suber; two sons, Michael Gambrell and Roderick Gambrell; three sisters, Patricia Geer, Brenda Boyd, and Mildred Williams; one brother, James O. Gambrell, Sr.; and a host of grandchildren and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Allgood Gambrell; parents, Herman Gambrell, Sr. and Ila Patterson Gambrell; one sister, Lillie Mae Morris; and two brothers, Rev. Charles Gambrell and Herman "June" Gambrell, Jr.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Mt. Able Baptist Church in Pendleton, SC. At the request of the family, if you plan to attend the graveside service or visit the family at the home, please be so kind to wear a face mask. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and we thank you in advance.
