Oscar Pruitt Obituary
Mr. Oscar Julius Pruitt, 87, of Anderson, SC (formerly of Due West), passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
He is survived by his former wife, Minnie Lee Wright Pruitt; one daughter, Mary Pruitt Bolden; three sons, Dwayne Pruitt, Kevin Dotson, and Antonio Williams; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Johnnie Ruth Ellis Pruitt; two daughters, Gloria Jeanette Williams and Jacqulyn Pruitt; two sons, Leonard Pruitt and Eddie Pruitt; one sister, Vivian Dean; and one brother, John T. Chiles.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 28, 2020 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home. The interment will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery.
The family will be at their respective homes.
