Queen Elizabeth (Chapman) Nnaji

June 4, 1955 ~ October 4, 2021 (age 66) 66 Years Old

Queen Nnaji Obituary

Queen Elizabeth Chapman Nnaji was born to the union of the late James Matthew Chapman and Edith Elizabeth Chapman on June 4, 1955 in Anderson, South Carolina.

Queen was also known as “Queenie” to most everyone and “Beanie” to very few.  She attended D.W. Daniel High School.  In 2006, she received an Associate Degree in Business with a Major in Management from Tri-County Technical College.  Education was important to her which many witnessed in her daily routine of reading or coloring on her tablet.  

She received an honorable discharge from the United States Army Reserve.  Queen retired from AFCO, a Bosch fuel-pump plant. 

Queen committed her life to Christ and became a member of Greater Faith Baptist Church in Clemson, South Carolina.  She was a woman who loved her family deeply and truly cared for those closest to her.  Queen would light up the room with her beautiful smile.

To celebrate her life and cherish her wonderful memories are her daughter, Jantisha Rochelle Collins (Jason); sons, Gregory Bernard Chapman (Elaine) and Chauncey Demetrius Chapman (Shena); eight grandchildren, Gregory Phillips, Lakea Chapman, Braxton Collins, Jakeim Chapman, Jaydon Collins, Adarryius Butler, Corday Chapman and Cory Collins; one great-grandchild, Jediah Phillips; brother, James Albert Chapman, sister, Linda Whitner; eight bonus grandchildren, three bonus great-grandchildren; two nieces, three nephews, five great-nieces, eight great-nephews (two of the home, Jamauri and Jalonte Chapman); one aunt, Marilyn Artist and a host of relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Matthew Chapman and Edith Elizabeth Chapman; two brothers, John Patrick Chapman and Timothy Matthew Chapman; one nephew, James Brandon Chapman.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 1:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC.

The family is at the home, 2017 Refuge Road, Pendleton, SC 29670.
