Thelma Latimer Gray

On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Thelma Latimer Gray transitioned to be with the Lord.  Thelma was born April 17, 1931 in Anderson, SC to the late Cleve O. and Rosella Latimer.  She was a member of Genrostee Baptist Church.  While she was active, she served on the missionary society, the Gospel Choir, and the Usher Board.

Thelma leaves to cherish her memories, two sisters, Dorothy L. Fant and Shirley (Melvin) Green both of Anderson, SC; four brothers, Melvin (Nettie) Latimer of Columbia, SC, David (Mary) Latimer of Anderson, SC, Wayne Latimer of Oakland, CA, and Roger (Betty) Glenn of Trenton, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her sisters, Leona L. Speed and Mildred L. Brown and brothers, Thomas "T.S." Latimer, Neotha Latimer, and Robert Latimer.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Generostee Baptist Church.  The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing Friday from 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family is at the home of her brother, Melvin (Nettie) Latimer, 5004 Hwy. 29 South, Anderson, SC 29626.
