William Martin Obituary

Mr. William “Deke” Martin, 71, passed away on Friday, October 23, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

He is survived by his wife, Janie H. Martin; son, William Rodriquez Martin; grandson, Nicholas A. Fant; brothers, Lawrence Martin (Betty) and Willie Martin; sister, Elaine Evans (Gary); Levesta A. Howard (raised in the home together); and a host of nieces, nephews, and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Cornelia Beaty Martin; grandmother, Dove Beaty; three brothers, Rev. James Beaty, Neal Leonard Martin, and Pete Beaty; and Joe McCord (raised in the home together).

A private celebration of life will be held for the immediate family.
