Ms. Gerlinda E. Witcher, 60, of 166 Fyffe Drive Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center.

She was a 1974 graduate of Westside High School and a member of Covenant Outreach Church.  She was currently employed with St. Paul First Baptist Church in Anderson, SC and a former employee of Anderson County Disability and Special Needs Board.

Gerlinda was known for her beautiful smile and soprano voice. She will be greatly missed by her sister, Claudette Witcher; brothers, Stefan Witcher and Robert Stephen Witcher; and a host of family.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Witcher Simmons.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at St. Paul First Baptist Church.  The interment will follow at Westview Cemetery.
