Mrs. Bernell E. Davis Winfield, 84, of 1014 Lafayette Avenue Anderson, SC, passed away on April 24, 2016 at AnMed Health Medical Center.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Walter Winfield, Jr.; daughters, Anita Wiley of Accokeek, MD and Brenda Newton of Maynard, MA; sons, Walter Winfield, III of Anderson, SC, Keith Winfield of Nashua, NH and Darryl Winfield of Clinton, MD; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother, Charles Davis of East Orange, NJ; and a host of other loving relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Annie Lou Watson Davis; three sisters, Wilma Reed, Vivian Edwards and Eleanor Christine Bussey; one brother, William Davis; one grandchild, Erin; and one great-grandchild, Reggie.

The memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2016 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The inurnment will follow at M.J. "Dolly" Cooper Veterans Cemetery Columbarium.
