Frances, Wanda, Pat, Cheryl and all of the Johnson family I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I was just made aware of this. You have my sincere condolences and prayers. I know what it feels like to lose your mother, because I had to travel this same path last February. She is the glue that holds the family together. I pray that God give you a peace that surpasses all understanding. I know that you are a God-fearing and saved family, so I know that you will be alright; even though it is hard to accept. I love you and will be continually lifting you all up in prayer.

Dear Wanda - I rejoice with you, and all your family, knowing your precious Mother is now in the very presence of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! And, I also sympathize with you in the pain that is experienced when a loved ones departs this life and leaves us behind to mourn their absence. Your mother will live on in the hearts and lives of each of you, and her memory will become more precious, and you will find she really never leaves your heart! I encourage you to speak and think of her often, and keep these memories alive for each other, and for all the family. Good news is; she is alive, well and happy, and you will see her again! PTL!!
(Walter Dacus is my friend, and I work with him at Hospice. He first introduced me to your awesome singing voice, and I have some of your albums that continually blesses me! Also, Geraldine Hawkins is a dear friend and she speaks of you often.)

Dear Family,
I did not have a chance to spend as much time with Ms Hattie as I would have liked but in the short time we spent playing "NHC Bingo" and picking on each other, I really got to know how just how great a lady she was. Many years ago my wife and I loved to watch the TV show "Touched by an Angel" starring Della Reese. The first time I remember seeing Ms Hattie she reminded of her. Every time I had a chance to visit we her, I left knowing that I had been touched by a special angel.
I will truly miss "My Bingo Buddy". She always had to get a bingo card with "B 1" on it. I will always know when I hear that called in the future that Ms Hattie is smiling down, making sure I'm not cheating, as she always accused me of when I won.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time!
