James Willie Clinkscales, 77, of 306 Winchester Drive in Anderson, SC, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at his home.

He is survived by his three daughters, Cynthia Clinkscales Cobb, Deidre Lynn Clinkscales, and Karen Clinkscales Washington; one son, Stanley Williams; two sisters, Shirley C. Mitchell and Patricia Pond-Jones; four grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Mae Jones Clinkscales; parents, James Clinkscales and Nancy Geer Clinkscales Ellington; daughter, Jacqueline Marie Clinkscales; and one adopted brother, Benjamin Ellington.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at Ebenezer Baptist Church.  The interment will follow in the church cemetery.
