Angela and Mark, we are so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. Mr. Rice was a lot of fun to be around. We will keep your family in our prayers.

I would like to express my sympathy in the loss of your dear family member. The death of a loved one is one of the most painful events that can happen. Our loving heavenly father understand how you feel because death was not a part of his original purpose for mankind (Genesis 1:28). However, he provides comfort to help soothe the feelings of sadness and grief. Psalm 147:3 says; He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. The wonderful promise for the future at Revelation 21:4 is very comforting. It says; He (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
