Mrs. Phyllis Ann Burriss Morris, 68, of 521 Rose Hill Street Anderson, SC, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at her home.

She was born in Anderson, SC and a former employee of Patrick B. Harris.

She is survived by her son, Reginald Morris of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Margaret Burriss Harris of Colorado Springs, CO and Sharon B. McClendon of Anderson, SC; one brother, Carey (Helen) Burriss, Jr. of Anderson, SC; three grandchildren; and a host of other family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Morris; parents, Carey and Gladys Sanders Burriss, Sr. and one sister, Betty E. Burriss.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2016 in the Ollie Robinson Brown Memorial Chapel of Marcus D. Brown Funeral Home.  The interment will follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
